Creeping slowly by rhizomes to form an attractive ground cover, it is excellent for stabilizing sandy soils under oaks and pines. One of its favorite habitats is woodlands at the edge of sand dunes. False Lily of the Valley, or Starry False Solomon's Seal are other common names.
