Rose Coreopsis, Coreopsis rosea, is a rare to endangered native of the Eastern U.S. The fine leaved, yet dense foliage is covered with numerous small pink flowers with yellow centers in mid-summer. This profuse and lengthy bloomer can be cut back in late summer to promote new early Autumn flowers. An excellent ground cover or mounding border plant, Rose Coreopsis spreads easily and forms attractive patches. Rose Coreopsis does not do well in clay soils.
