Fox Sedge, Carex vulpinoidea, is a remarkably adaptable wetland sedge that forms beautiful fine-leaved mounds, two feet in diameter. A spray of bright bronze seed heads creates an excellent midsummer display. Carex vulpinoidea grows in a wide variety of medium-moist to wet soils, including clay. An excellent choice for rain gardens.
