Choose up to six plants to complete your 32-Plant Kit. Each potted plant container size is 2.6” wide x 3.5” deep.

Possible tray configurations:

6 species in your tray: 6 + 6 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 32 plants
5 species in your tray: 7 + 7 + 6 + 6 + 6 = 32 plants
4 species in your tray: 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 = 32 plants
3 species in your tray: 12 + 10 + 10 = 32 plants
2 species in your tray: 16 + 16 = 32 plants

At $129 you save 33% on the cost of plants when you choose 4, 5, or 6 species.

Shipping

Plant Shipping

We ship plants in the spring, and in the fall – during our plant-shipping periods.
Spring plant-shipping begins on April 3, 2023, and the last day to order plants for spring shipment is May 19.
During checkout, you will choose a Shipping Week for your plant delivery. Available space in the weekly schedule is filled on a first-come-first-served basis. The shipping week that you choose will be included in your email order confirmation.
When your plants have shipped you will receive an email with tracking information.

General Information

We are not able to combine a new order with a previous order, for shipping.
Plants and Seeds are shipped separately and have different shipping rates.
With all orders, credit cards are pre-authorized and charged when your order is placed.
We are not able to arrange orders for pick-up at the Nursery. All orders are shipped.
Plants and Seeds are shipped to destinations within the contiguous United States, only.

Product Questions

Are all plants available in this 32 plant kit?

Not all of our plants are available as selections in this Kit. For example, ferns, shrubs, and any plants that are grown in 4" pots are not included. Other plants which are not included are species that we may not have in sufficient quantity. The 32-Plant Kit includes a variety of plants to choose from – more than 90 species.

HI, is there a MAP for these plants, in terms of how to arrange them?

There is no "planting plan," or map, for the Custom Kits. The Custom Kits allow gardeners to choose from a large assortment of plants and plant them according to their own various needs and desires. If you are looking for an option that does include a Plan, we have a variety of Pre-Planned Gardens and all (30) of them include planting layouts. Here is a link to our Pre-Planned Gardens – each garden layout, visible on the product page in the image gallery, is included with shipment.

How do I get my plant choices into the slots on the page?

To view the plant list and choose your plants, click on the first box that reads "Select Your First Plant." Clicking that box will cause the plant list to appear. When you see a plant that you want to add to your kit, simply click the the bright green "ADD TO KIT" button. You can easily change the selections if you change your mind. Continue adding plants to your list. Rearranging the list items (with the click and drag dots) will adjust the quantities.

How much space can I fill with a 32 plant kit?

The amount of space that you can fill will depend upon which plants you choose. Some plants, such as Nodding Pink Onion, need less than 1 square foot of space. Larger plants, such as Cupplant may take 3 square feet. A good starting point is 32 square foot area. A planting area that is 4' wide x 8' long is 32 square feet. This average size will allow one square foot per plant. Increase or decrease as needed, depending on your plant choices.
