Choose up to six plants to complete your 32-Plant Kit. Each potted plant container size is 2.6” wide x 3.5” deep.

Shipping

PLANT SHIPPING

Plant Shipping Rates: for plant orders up to $50 the shipping amount is $9.95. For plant orders from $50.01 and over, the shipping rate is 20% of the total plant cost.
Spring plant-shipping begins April 7, 2025. The last day to order plants for spring delivery is projected to be May 21, 2025
Fall plant-shipping begins on September 8, 2025. The last day to order your plants for fall shipment is projected to be September 28, 2025.
During checkout, you will be asked to choose a Shipping Week for your plant delivery, from the dates that are available. The week that you choose will be included in your order confirmation email. When your plants ship you will receive an email that includes your tracking information.

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

We are not able to combine a new order with a previous order, for shipping.
Plants and Seeds are shipped separately and have different shipping rates.
We are not able to arrange orders for pick-up at the Nursery. All orders are shipped.

Plants and Seeds are shipped within the contiguous United States, only.
Due to agricultural restrictions we no longer ship to the following states: Idaho, Utah, Oregon

Are all plants available in this 32 plant kit?

Not all of our plants are available as selections in this Kit. For example, ferns, shrubs, and any plants that are grown in 4" pots are not included. Other plants which are not included are species that we may not have in sufficient quantity. The 32-Plant Kit includes a variety of plants to choose from – more than 90 species.

HI, is there a MAP for these plants, in terms of how to arrange them?

There is no "planting plan," or map, for the Custom Kits. The Custom Kits allow gardeners to choose from a large assortment of plants and plant them according to their own various needs and desires. If you are looking for an option that does include a Plan, we have a variety of Pre-Planned Gardens and all (30) of them include planting layouts. Here is a link to our Pre-Planned Gardens – each garden layout, visible on the product page in the image gallery, is included with shipment.

How much space can I fill with a 32 plant kit?

The amount of space that you can fill will depend upon which plants you choose. Some plants, such as Nodding Pink Onion, need less than 1 square foot of space. Larger plants, such as Cupplant may take 3 square feet. A good starting point is 32 square foot area. A planting area that is 4' wide x 8' long is 32 square feet. This average size will allow one square foot per plant. Increase or decrease as needed, depending on your plant choices. For a visualization aid, take a look at our diagram of a 32-plant pre-planned butterfly garden (in the image gallery). The diagram shows a 5'x10' area, with approximately 38 square feet of that area to be filled with plants.
