Prairie Run Lake Development, Marshfield, WI. As a consultant to the Prairie Run Group, Prairie Nursery designed and oversaw installation of custom seed mixes, comprised of prairie wildflowers and grasses adapted to the clay soils underlying four acres of uplands and shoreline. Inflitrating 100% of the storm water that runs off of the surrounding development, a river of sedges help keep the water crystal clear in an environment that supports blue gills, dragonflies, shorebirds and more.
A pairie meadow landscape installation, designed by Prairie Nursery, graces a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired home in North Central Wisconsin. The home and its limestone walls blend seamlessly with the surrounding half acre planting.
A custom designed butterfly prairie surrounds the lake at American Family Insurance headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin.
Prairie Nursery consulted on the conversion of 10 acres of fallow farm land into a prairie seed mix and oversaw the installation. The Short Prairie Seed Mix for Medium Soils was installed on the acreage and is now an established prairie, shown here in it's seventh year.
