Conservation Reserve Program

Praire Nursery works with Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) implementation and our ecologists can design a mix to match your site conditions. Whether you're looking for a basic prairie grass mix, a custom-designed prairie mix that contains more diversity than the standard CRP mixes, or a shoreline buffer seed mix, we can help. Give us a call today!

The CRP is a voluntary program for agricultural landowners. CRP protects millions of acres of American topsoil from erosion and is designed to safeguard the Nation's natural resources. Acreage enrolled in the CRP is planted to resource-conserving vegetative covers. By reducing water runoff and sedimentation, CRP protects groundwater and helps improve the condition of lakes, rivers, ponds, and streams, and increases wildlife populations.
