Low Growing Meadow for Medium Soils

For well-drained loam, sandy loam and clay loam soils
The majority of the flowers in this mix grows no taller than two feet high with a few flowers and grasses rising up to three feet. During summer, the grasses stay low, and play a supporting role as the flowers put on their colorful show. In fall, the flowers turn over center stage to the grasses, which then send up their delicate seedheads and turn bronze, gold and copper with the first frosts. This special mix offered exclusively by Prairie Nursery to fill the need for lower growing prairie meadows in a variety of landscape situations. Perfect for the urban and suburban prairie homesteader!
