Known for its spires of showy pink flowers, Steeplebush also has excellent foliage that turns bright gold and auburn in fall. Spiraea tomentosa is similar in appearance to cultivated Spiraeas. This native makes a fantastic hedge when planted three feet on center. Requires a rich, moist soil. Hardy to Zones 3 - 8.
