Bishop's Cap

Mitella diphylla (Bishop's Cap) produces distinctive white flowers that resemble a tiny bishop's cap. This demure plant grows best in medium to deep shade in a soil rich in humus. Tolerant of dry conditions, it will actually grow on top of limestone rocks covered with only a few inches of rich soil! Hardy to Zones 3 - 7.
