Northern Blazingstar

Brilliant red buds surround the hot pink center of the Northern Blazingstar, attracting butterflies to its delectable nectar. Widely-branched, Liatris borealis produces a profusion of showy flowers in late summer. This rare northeastern U.S. native requires a well-drained soil. Hardy to Zones 4 - 5.
