Delicate white to pink petals surround yellow and red centers to resemble a shooting star! The lush foliage of Dodecatheon meadia makes a perfect backdrop for the exquisite flowers. A spring bloomer, Shootingstar goes dormant by late August. Fall transplanting is best, but early spring planting is also fine. Hardy to Zones 4 - 8.
