Plantain Leaved Sedge

Arguably the showiest of all our woodland sedges. The unusually wide, chartreuse leaves really stand out! Makes a great border alongside woodland trails and on the edge of woodland gardens. Requires a rich, well-drained soil in light to medium shade. Thrives in alkaline soils, even in rocky limestone and dolomite. Zones 3 - 7.
