The glossy green leaves branch out from the main stem similar to a palm tree. Native to wooded lowlands, it does best in slightly damp soil in shade. Makes an excellent groundcover, and thrives in clay! Plant one foot on center as a groundcover or use individually as a foliage accent plant. Zones 4 - 7.
