Red Baneberry creates season-long interest in shady areas. Bright red berries set against deep green foliage makes Actaea rubra one of the showpieces of the woodland garden. While many woodland flowers go dormant by midsummer, Red Baneberry provides interest all the way into the fall. Elegant white flower globes appear in spring and are attractive in their own right. Grows one to two feet tall in rich,well-drained soil, in partial to full shade. One of the very best woodland plants for summer-long color and interest! Hardy to Zone 3-7.
