White Doll's Eyes

White Doll's Eyes (Actaea alba) requires a rich soil with plenty of humus. This tough plant actually thrives under Black Walnut trees! Bright white berries and lush foliage make this plant a true woodland standout! Also called White Baneberry, the white berries persist for four to six weeks in late summer to early fall. Plant with early-blooming woodland flowers to create season-long interest.  Hardy to Zones 3 – 8.
