Prairie Nursery’s low maintenance No-Mow lawn seed mix is a specially designed blend of six low-growing fine fescue turf grasses that grow to form a dense sod and thrive in full sun or partial shade. An established No-Mow lawn requires little if any watering or fertilizing, and minimizes weed growth through it’s interlocking root system.
Reduce your lawn maintenance dramatically! No-Mow turf can be mowed once or twice a year, or not at all! For a manicured look, mow your turf every month or so to a height of 3.5 to 4 inches.

Dark green
This region is best suited to the cool season fescues in the No-Mow turf blend.
Transition Planting Zone:
Light green
Suitable for either cool season or warm season turf grasses. No-Mow lawn mix will typically perform well in this area, except when planted in hot, drought prone locations such as south-facing hillsides, very dry rocky or sandy soils.
Not Recommended Planting Zone: Yellow
These hotter climates are best suited to warm season grasses that can tolerate long, warm summers. No-Mow lawn mix is never recommended for planting in wet locations or on heavy clay soils with less than four inches of loose, loamy topsoil. |
