Perhaps the most common and adaptable of our wetland sedges, awl fruited sedge thrives in almost any wet soil environment. An important component of wetland seed mixes, it establishes quickly to provide rapid soil stabilization. Sprays of golden yellow seedheads make this a prominent plant of the summer landscape. Hardy to Zone 4.
