Similar to Canada Wild Rye, this graceful grass grows in full sun or moderate shade. Fast-growing, it is excellent for stabilizing wooded hillsides and ravines. Tolerant of moisture, it is an ideal choice for planting along woodland streams and floodplains. Reseeds readily. Hardy to Zone 3.
