How can I discourage geese from eating my prairie seedlings?

  • Geese are more afraid of movement than noise.
  • Place Mylar strips attached to sticks put into the ground.
  • There may be a grape flavored spray (unsweetened grape Kool-Aid) that you can use on your plants (tastes awful to geese).
